To this group can be counted:

• the wear resistant stellites
• super alloys on Cobalt, nickel or iron basis
• the two phase composite tungsten heavy metal alloys with nickel - iron or nickel - copper binder
• Tantalum – tungsten alloys

Wear Protection

Can be achieved by soldering cemented carbides, stellites or super alloys onto selected surfaces areas. This can be done by hard facing, thermal spraying or chemical vapor deposition.
