What is Tungsten Alloy Tube?
Tungsten heavy alloys are usually consisted of W-Ni- Fe or W-Ni- Cu or even W-Ni-Cu-Fe, some tungsten alloy is added Co、Mo、Cr, etc. It could be made as many shapes. Tungsten alloy tube are usually used in making radiation shielding, some parts for military defence, such counterweights for hunting guns, hunting equipment, the missile weapons, armor piercing ammunitio; counterweights for oil logging, etc.

Tungsten heavy alloy is a suitable raw material for radiation protection, as its combination of radiographic density (more than 60% denser than lead), good mechanical strength, and low thermal expansion, good corrosion resistance, high radiation absorption (superior to lead), simplified life cycle and high strength. It can provide the same degree of protection as lead whilst significantly reducing the overall volume and thickness of shields and containers. Besides, compared with lead or depleted uranium in the past, tungsten heavy alloy is more acceptable in this case, for they are Pb-free and non-toxic.
As it is excellent high radiation adsorption capability, tungsten alloy tube could be used as the parts of radiation shielding wall, vial shielding.
Besides, it could also be used as the counterweight tube for oil logging, as it has special properties such as high density, high impact resistance and crack resistance, etc.
